Getting tough on SPAM
Unfortunately in common with many organizations we are now receiving a huge volume of SPAM / Unsolicited Commercial E-mail (accounting for around 50% of incoming mail to our server). As well as making it difficult for our staff to identify important messages SPAM slows down our server.
We have incorporated a number of anti-SPAM methodologies into our mailserver in recent months. Unfortunately as with all anti-spam technology some false positives are possible if the detection level is effective.
